My first job in New York was a Quality Rater for Google, Inc. from Oct 2005 to July 2006. My responsibilities included:

  • Evaluation of search engine results for Google.
  • Application of Google's evaluation protocol, including frequent updates and new developments.
  • Utilization of Google's proprietary software program, "EWOQ" developed specifically for this project.
  • Responsibilities included both French and English-language results.

From 2002 to 2005, I was the Webmaster and overall Manager of the Municipal Web Site of Vitry-sur-Seine, a suburb of Paris with 80,000 inhabitants ( http://www.mairie-vitry94.fr/).

In this role I was responsible for the development and implementation of on-line communications strategy and its integration into the overall municipal communications policy. I managed all aspects of the site, including content development and updating, design and technical development, as well as managing outside programmers and suppliers.

I improved cooperation between the web site and municipal print publications, as well as increasing theintegration of the web site into community life, with the introduction of video, user-generated content, on-line competitions and improved local information.
