As an internet Consultant for the French institute Alliance française (October 2005-June 2006) www.fiaf.org, I made (among other things) videos of their cultural events and short presentations. It's a very good way to "capture" life and truth.
As a journalist-webmaster for the city of Vitry-sur-Seine (June 2002- July 2005), I made short movies about current events in the city. Below are some samples.

Sample: Drawing Inspiration: The Art of Editorial Cartoons

With eye-catching imagery and clever wordplay, an editorial cartoon says far more than a thousand-word article, inspiring us to look at a topic from a different perspective. Plantu and Joel Pett, the top creative minds—and hands—from both sides of the Atlantic, sketched live on stage and discussed the art of political cartoons.

Jean Plantu, the most famous French editorial cartoonist, has worked for Le Monde since 1972. Joel Pett is cartoonist for the Lexington Herald-Leader and winner of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning. Author and francophile Adam Gopnik moderated the discussion, which concluded with questions from the audience.
